American actor, John Carradine was born Richmond Reed Carradine of Irish, English, Scottish, Welsh, German, Spanish, Italian, Ukrainian and Cherokee descent. Three of his sons, David, Keith and Robert, also became actors, as well as Keith's daughter, Martha Plimpton.
